Students working in the shopEnroll in City Stadium Automotive® to earn 24 college credits & a one-year technical diploma

City Stadium Automotive®  students have the opportunity to work at major dealerships while still enrolled in high school. The hands-on, real-world experience students receive centers around technical research, automotive workplace skills and practices, and preparation for post-secondary education. 

City Stadium Automotive®  offers many benefits to students including the opportunity to earn 24 college credits and a one-year technical diploma through the Automotive Maintenance Technician (AMT) program in collaboration with NWTC. Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, students will have the opportunity to earn up to 27 college credits as part of the AMT program. 

Courses are taught at East High School by NWTC instructor Clint Braun and supported by Green Bay Area Public School District instructor Brian Loll. Both are Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified instructors. The courses below are available at East High School for juniors and seniors from any Green Bay Area Public School District high school. 

Year 1 Courses

Transportation Service Ops(Fall Semester): 1 credit
Weeks 1-3

Auto Service Ops (Fall Semester): 1 credit
Weeks 4-6

Introduction to Electrical Systems (Fall Semester): 1 credit

Weeks 7-9

Auto Elec and Elect Systems 1 (Fall Semester): 1 credit
Weeks 10-12

Engine Repair 1 (Fall Semester): 2 credits
Weeks 13-18

Steering and Suspension Systems (Spring Semester): 3 credits
Weeks 1-9

Brake Systems (Spring Semester): 3 credits
